Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport is Qingdao’s only civil aviation airport.

Jiaozhou is also the name used for the deep water harbour that separates Qingdao and Huangdao, Jiaozhou Bay.

Qingdao Jiaodong Airport is the largest airport in Shandong province.

There are direct international flights to Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, as well as cargo flights to Japan, South Korea, and Los Angeles in the United States.
