The Qingdao City Hall building is on Hong Kong Middle Road across from May 4th Square in Shinan district.

The current Qingdao City Hall building was built in the 1990’s to replace the former city hall in Qingdao’s old town.

The former city hall was the site of the German colonial administrative headquarters.

That colonial era building still stands on Hunan Lu, a block off the coast and 5 minutes walk from Zhan Qiao Pier.
