Take a Hike
October 31, 2009 in About Qingdao
Qingdao has some pretty auspicious feng shui orientation, with water (水) and mountains (山) in all the right spaces. Qingdao’s picturesque coastline is marked by calm and cool islands, rolling hills and scenic bays. Laoshan bookends the eastern coast of the peninsula, with granite boulders, red pines, and small villages included in its 400 sqm of slopes.
Besides hiking, biking, climbing, camping, exploring tunnels and islands all over the province, you can get acquainted with the history and layout of Qingdao’s Old Town. Tours of the German colonial-era architecture and ethereal cobblestone alleys on the west side of the peninsula are also on offer. Contact Marcus for more info.
