Qingdao Water Blues
The 2012 Qingdao International Conference on Desalination and Water Reuse takes place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao from June 26 – 29, 2012. Organized by the China Desalination Association (CDA) and other industry groups, the conference concerns a vital issue for humankind’s future on planet Earth: finding ways to solve our water resources crisis.

The theme of the conference is “Desalination Innovation and Sustainable Development“. Presenters and attendees include industry professionals (Abengoa Water, Doosan Heavy, Acciona, Veolia Water Solution & Technology, Hyflux, NanoH2O, Dow Chemical, Siemens, GE, Nitto Denko, Hyundai, Baosteel).
Also in attendance will be municipal representatives (Qingdao, Beijing, Tianjin), embassy counsellor (State of Israel), and academics (Ocean University of China, Qingdao University, Tianjin University, Mumbai University, Fudan University, and Chinese Academy of Sciences).

The Qingdao International Desalination Conference, jointly organized by China Desalination Association and other groups, supported by International Desalination Association, Asia-Pacific Desalination Association and related industrial organizations, is a grand, national-standard, academic and technical pageant.
The conference aims at building an exchange platform for the most advanced technology of desalination & water reuse industry, which contributes to desalination industry development in China and other countries around the world.
