Hares say: The run will be in the mountainous area east of Qingdao Technical University so to expect both hilly and flat terrain.
Some more enlightenment from the hares:
First the good news: Saturday’s trail is going to be a rather short one, taking you off the beaten track to experience some village atmosphere, blaze or cruise (depending on personal preferences) through mellow tea fields, all the while taking in the beautiful views of Qingdao’s rural and less rural side …
And now the bad news: To have all this, some challenges need to be mastered. There is one rather steep ascent on a single trail and a long descent with loose dirt and gravel. It is nothing really dangerous, but you should be prepared for this, so you may want to consider to leave those high heels at home and rather wear good running or trekking shoes to be on the safe side. Since the sun is already quite strong, you may want to bring some water as well as a cover for your head – Easter bunny ears are definitely optional 😉
