Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Qingdao, introducing the Hyatt Regency brand to China’s booming coastal city in the Shandong province. Hyatt Regency Qingdao will be the first upscale urban resort in northern China with an idyllic ocean setting.

Hyatt Regency Qingdao offers 439 guestrooms, including 25 suites. All rooms feature views of the ocean or beach through floor-to-ceiling windows, set against a backdrop of the magnificent Laoshan and Fushan mountains.   1. The very long text leaves out one good piece of info:

    They have a nice imported beer selection and actually normal rates. You can get some Belgian beers for around 40 RMB per bottle (plus 15% service fee though). Some very nice and tasty beers that you might not find in other places. And the bartender in the Market Cafe restaurant seemed to actually be familiar with all of the beers that he had in stock.
