Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
1. Time:
During Dec.5-Dec.30 , Every weekdays.(From Monday-Friday).
From 7 am – 9 am. 1 to 2 hours practising ( We do one hour practising at first then slightly extend the time to 2 hours.)
2. Content:
Ashtanga 1
Include:Sun Saluation A/B,Viniyasa,Standing posture,Sitting posture,Backbend and Finishing posture.
3. The Practiser:
Opening for all the people who love yoga and want to practise yoga
Include the person who never practised yoga before
4. The purpose:
Get a deep understanding of Ashtanga yoga.
After join the course,you can practise Ashtanga 1 by yourself .
Get a chance to develop a solid foundation practice before moving to Mysore classes
5. Rates:
Before Nov. 15th: RMB 1180 for members
RMB 2180 for people without membership cards.
After Nov. 15th : RMB 1580 for members
RMB 2580 for people without membership cards.
