    Well I’ve put 155,000 km on my 2004 Buick Excelle… almost 6 years to the day! It’s still going strong, the closest I came to an accident was when some #@!*$%# dropped a truck tire on the fast lane of the Qin Yin expressway… at night! I hit it at 120 km/h flipping the car onto 2 wheels, mashing the driver’s side sill and wrecking the front wishbone mount… still managed to drive home though.

    If I were in a position to replace it I think the Audi Q5 2.0 tdi (pretty good environmentally friendly credentials) would fit the bill, manual shift of course… in metallic “Tweety Bird” yellow I think. Hmm… maybe when the kids have finished school….

    Hey Simon(ella)! Sounds like quite the happening there on QY Ex. Now I understand the green hair :-) . I was in Qingdao the other day and couldn’t believe the *&^%$#@# and cars over there. I think if I were going to buy a new car it would be one that you don’t need to park. Maybe an idea for the car of the future.
