Cool! Do you know where he got his supplies? Perhaps they have grains and hops.

he started from buying grapes…thus, i don’t think he’s able to get the source of that (grains and hops)

Have you checked Taobao or Alibaba? I don’t know if this can be used for making beer but apparently hops is used in Chinese medicine as well and you can get it at many pharmacies. It is called Pi Jiu Hua (cool name, “beer flower”).

Thanks man, I’ll check it out. Not to sure where alibaba is; fairly new in town. If I can get my hands on some decent hops I could brew some good beers for all of us foreigners to enjoy. A nice English Pale, German Lager, whatever. Pi jiu hua makes sense, beer flower.

my mom she once brewing with grapes, it taste good. I also tried the cherry wine which one of my friends he brewing by himself. It was prett good.
