Chyi Chin (齐秦) performs in Qingdao at the Qingdao Grand Theatre on May 15 and 16, 2011. The singer usually goes by the English name Chyi Chin though the pinyin spelling of his Chinese name is Qi Qin. He was introduced to performing by his singing star older sister Chyi Yu (齐豫). Chyi’s 1985 hit song Wolf (狼) established him as a star in his own right. Chyi Chin sang many of the famous Chinese songs of the 1980′s and 90′s. The uptempo Yi Wu Suo You (一无所有) is another crowd favorite almost sure to be heard on the 2 nights he sings in Qingdao, as well as Probably in Winter (Da Yue Zai Dong Ji/大约在冬季) and Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin (月亮代表我的心), easily the biggest hit ballad in Chinese contemporary music, originally popularized by Deng Lijun (Teresa Teng).
