China 公社 (China Gong She) in Qingdao houses a teahouse, restaurant, and hotel on the Fushansuo 1388 Culture Street, which is actually Minjiang San Lu between Minjiang Lu and Jiangxi Lu just west of Fuzhou Lu (around the corner from Impulse Fitness). As explained on their website, this exquisitely designed and decorated set of buildings takes a name that is half English and half Chinese to represent their “combination of Western and Eastern elements”. This structure is one of a kind in Qingdao and worth a visit for the views alone.
