“To celebrate the summer with literature, Alliance française is pleased to present a lecture with a duo of women writers, characterized by two particularly feminine writing styles.
Actress Alma Brami has been revealed as a writer in 2008, with the publication of “Sans elle” (Without her), which was awarded many prizes. Since then, she published “Ils l’ont laissée là” (They left her there ) in 2009, and “Tant que tu es heureuse” (As Long as You Are Happy) in 2010. These three novels have been published in Chinese in September 2011.
She also writes stories for children, along with Véronique Olmi, she wrote her first youth book called “Moi, je n’aime pas comme je suis” (I do not like what I am), recently published at Albin Michel Publishing House.
Dramatist and novelist Véronique Olmi has published ten novels since 1998, both with Acte Sud and Grasset Publishing Houses. She is also the artistic director of the Festival “Women’s Paris” at Mathurins Theater. Her famous novel “Premier Amour” (First Love) is about to be published for the first time in China this year.”
