Alice in Wonderland English 3D

Hollywood hit makers continue to bang the 3D drum, this time it’s a classic children’s tale thick with allegory for adults from Tim Burton. Now showing in Qingdao, in 3D, and in English at Mykal and Wanda theaters: Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton, with Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, and Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen. Wanda CBD offers 2 screen types, with prices ranging from 90 to 130 yuan (RMB) for a special dual projector showing.     I’ve also heard mixed reviews but still looking forward to it, because after all it’s still Burton and Depp. Parent’s should know going into it that it is Burton and his movies def are on the darker side, so not really a surprise that it would scare kids.

    I also hear that Helena Bonham Carter steals the show and was more memorable than Depp was.

    Pretty sure the Mykal cinema has stopped showing it in English. That’s what I took from the lady there the other day, with my crap Chinese.
